About the Walk

A Walk in the Park is the largest community event dedicated to helping people with Parkinson's lead full and active lives. This year, A Walk in the Park celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Together we’ll support, celebrate and acknowledge those who walk tall with Parkinson’s. Learn more

You can make a big difference

Every dollar raised by A Walk in the Park will help people with Parkinson’s to lead full and active lives.  With your support, we will reach our 2018 goal to raise $275,000.

Achieving this target will ensure we can continue to provide timely and valuable information, education and peer support services to people with Parkinson’s, as well as family members, carers and healthcare professionals. And to further thank you for participating, if you raise $25 or more, we’ll reward you with a commemorative t-shirt!

A WALK IN THE PARK 2018 FUNDRAISING TALLY

“It’s a time for all our friends and family to join as one, to support my father and all other families going through their own battles with Parkinson’s. If the small effort we put in contributes to supporting others, then we have accomplished something truly amazing.”

Kim Goodridge, Participant 2017
