Take A Walk in the Park Geelong for Parkinson’s on Sunday 8 September
Geelong will again host A Walk in the Park and provide an opportunity for people living in Geelong to come together as a community to raise awareness and vital funds to support those living with Parkinson’s.
A Walk in the Park Geelong is held in the picturesque Eastern Park starting just near the entrance of the Geelong Botanic Gardens.
Eastern Park comes alive from 9.15am with pre-walk entertainment, including a warm-up, kid friendly activities and a traditional sausage sizzle. The Walk officially begins at 10.30am.
Dogs are welcome on the Walk and at the event site, but we do ask that you bring your own bags to pick up dog poo and that your dog is on a short lead at all times.
- Adults: $20
- Concession: $15
- Children (5-18 years): $5
- Children (under 5 years): Free
- Family (2 adults and up to 3 children): $40
All participants who register online prior to the Walk will get a lanyard and card on the day so that you can share with everyone who they are walking for. You will be able to register on the day, but dependant on numbers, may not get a lanyard.
Ample parking is available within Eastern Park around the Eastern Park Circuit. Additional parking is available above Hearne Parade and near the entrance to Eastern Park from Malop Street.
